Hi! I'm Tracy and I recently transferred to UNC Asheville. I'm an undecided major but getting my Teacher Licensure (K-6) here at UNCA. I want to major in either music or art because I love both subjects. I am in my 4th year of college and I already have an Associate in Arts Degree from Catawba Valley Community College back in Hickory, NC where I'm from.
I love music because I played clarinet for 7 years and have been playing piano for 9 years. I have such a passion for music. I can always find a song to tell how I feel and a song that will always fit my mood. I also chose teaching because I absolutely love working with kids. I really want to teach kindergarten, 1st, or 2nd grade but I will be happy no matter what grade I end up teaching. I'm very excited to be an Teacher Recruitment Representative with the Education Department this semester. I'm looking forward to meeting lots of new people with the same passion for teaching that I have and to also help people who are interested in coming to UNC Asheville to get their Teacher Licensure.
