Just when the future couldn't look any worse with the awful budget issues our country is facing, I've found inspiration. As a licensure student, I may be a bit biased, but I support education funding above most other fiscal issues. What we don't know, don't see, is that there is money out there. We just have to fight for it. CNN.com posted a video about just that. A school fighting for its students, winning the money it needs, and putting it to good use! Watch this video about a lovely school in Boston working to improve its students' education and well-being.
This is something I'm constantly reminded of, but I still need that reminder. When it starts to look like a dreary future ahead, I need to find the schools that are succeeding, the students that are getting stronger, the teachers that care more than anyone else could. They're all out there!
